An unstable airmass followed by a cold front is producing showers & storms over southeast WA, southern SA, and later into western Vic, NSW and Tas. A tropical airmass over far north is bringing the odd shower over the Top End. Onshore winds bring the odd shower to SW WA.

Gusty NW'ly winds & severe storms will develop across eastern WA, SA, Vic, southern NSW & Tas ahead of a front. Behind the front, a cooler, gusty and showery change will spread across WA & SA. Showers & the odd storm over the Top End.

A front & wintry air mass will cross the southeast, bringing heavy showers, small hail & damaging winds across SE SA, Tas, Vic & southern NSW, & highground snow in Tas. Storms in WA’s interior. Breezy across central AUS, with showers over the western Top End and far NE WA.

Tropical cyclone Maila will approach Far North Qld. An unstable airmass triggers storms in WA’s west. A wintry air mass will bring gusty winds & showers, small hail & some highground snow over SE SA, Tas & Vic, whilst southerly winds bring a few storms over NE NSW.

Tropical cyclone Maila will approach Far North Qld. A S’ly to SW’ly airstream behind a front should bring gusty winds & showers to Tas, Vic, SE SA & areas of coastal NSW, while an unstable airmass may trigger a few storms over inland WA. A few showers & storms over the tropcics.

Tropical Cyclone Maila should make landfall over far north Qld. A high will ease winds in the east but maintain a few showers over the southeast. An unstable airmass maintains a few storms over inland WA.

Tropical Cyclone Maila should continue to impact north Qld. An unstable airmass maintains storms over inland WA, whilst a cold front brushing SW WA brings a few showers. A high pressure ridge will keep most of the country dry and send a few onshore showers to Vic, Tas & NE NSW.
