A deep low near Tas and associated fronts are bringing showers and very gusty winds to SA, Tas, Vic and NSW, with storms over inland northeast NSW. A few showers are passong over southwest WA in onshore winds. High pressure over the interior and north keeps conditions dry.

Wednesday 09:30 z

A deep low should start moving into the Tasman Sea, maintaining strong winds and showers across Vic, eastern NSW and Tas, falling as snow in the alps. Showers should also affect southern WA and southern SA in a southwesterly flow behind the low. It should be dry elsewhere.

A deep low should move further east into the Tasman Sea, maintaining strong winds and showers across Vic, eastern NSW and Tas, falling as snow in the alps. Showers should also affect southern WA and southern SA in a S/SW’ly flow behind the low. It should remain dry elsewhere.

A deep low should move further east into the Tasman Sea, maintaining strong winds and a few showers across Vic, eastern NSW and Tas, falling as snow in the alps. Showers should also affect southern SA in a SW’ly flow. Light rain in NW WA. Dry elsewhere.

A few showers should persist in the southeast and east as gusty winds gradually ease. A few showers will develop over inland WA in an unstable air mass. Mostly dry elsewhere under broad high pressure and drier winds.

A few showers should persist in the southeast and east in onshore winds around a high. The odd shower over inland and western WA in an unstable air mass. Mostly dry elsewhere under broad high pressure and drier winds.

A high should ease showers across most of Vic & SA while bringing a cold morning to the southeast. A few showers will develop over NE NSW, the Qld coast & western Tas in onshore flow around the high. A strong front should generate intense winds, showers & storms in western WA.
