Scattered showers and storms extend across inland Qld, parts of the NT, and north and western WA, associated with low pressure. Scattered showers in a gusty SW'ly flow are affecting Tas and southern Vic, while a few coastal showers persist along coastal NSW in a SE'ly flow.

Tuesday 10:30 z
Showers and storms, some intense, will develop across northeast NSW, Qld, the northern NT and northern WA in unstable conditions. Hot winds in WA will shift inland and south ahead of a front cooling the southwest. A high will keep much of the rest of the country dry.

Wednesday 10:30 z
Showers & storms, some intense, will continue across Qld, the NT’s north & WA’s north, with storms also developing over WA’s western inland. Hot air over the central & western interior will drift south into SA & WA, while a high and dry winds keep much of the south dry.

Thursday 10:30 z
Showers & storms will continue to scatter across Qld, the NT’s north and SA’s north in moist, unstable air, with isolated storms in WA's west. Hot air over the western and central interior will filter south into SA and the eastern interior. A weak front will bring showers to Tas.

Friday 10:30 z
Showers & storms will continue across Qld, NSW, the NT and northern SA in moist, unstable air. Activity should remain isolated in WA. Hot air over the western and central interior will filter south through SA and into the eastern interior. A few showers in Tas in E’ly winds.

Saturday 10:30 z
Showers & storms will scatter across the southeast, the northern tropics, the interior, Qld and southern WA in moist, unstable air. Hot air over the western & central interior will filter south into SA and east across the interior.

Sunday 10:30 z
Showers & storms will scatter across the southeast, the northern tropics, western Qld in moist, unstable air and a low pressure system. A building high will clear showers from southern WA and SA in the wake of the low.
