Wednesday 09:30 z
Rain & storms, some heavy, will persist in western deserts, SA, Tas, Vic & SW NSW due to a slow-moving low. The low will also cause strong winds & showers in WA's south. Isolated showers for the Qld coast & the NT's Top End as onshore winds ease. A high will keep elsewhere dry.

Wednesday 11:30 z
A deep, slow-moving low off WA's south coast is bringing rain and strong winds to southern WA. A cold front is causing heavy rain over SA, and showers and storms over WA's northeast and the NT's south. Moist northerly winds bring a few showers to Tas, Vic and southern NSW.

Thursday 09:30 z
A low and a cold front will generate heavy rain, strong winds and isolated thunderstorms over the NT’s south, SA, Vic, Tas and western NSW. A post-frontal trough should bring a few showers to WA’s south. Moist easterly winds will bring showers to eastern Qld and the NT Top End.

Friday 09:30 z
A low and a cold front will generate heavy rain, strong winds and isolated thunderstorms over the NT, southwest Qld, NSW, Vic and Tas. Cool southerly winds in the wake of the front will bring a few showers to WA’s south and SA’s south. Showery onshore winds for eastern Qld.

Saturday 09:30 z
A front will generate rain and isolated thunderstorms over eastern Qld and northeast NSW. A secondary front and cool southerly winds will drive showers over southeast WA, southern SA, southern NSW, Vic and Tas. Moist easterly winds will bring showers to the northern tropics.

Sunday 09:30 z
Patchy rain & storms are likely in Qld & NE NSW as a trough stalls. A high should cause wind & showers to ease & some showers to clear elsewhere in NSW, Vic, Tas & SA & keep the interior dry. An approaching front should cause wind to strengthen & showers to develop in SW WA.

Monday 09:30 z
Showers & the odd storm are likely in parts of QLd & NE NSW due to a weakening trough. A high will cause most showers in the country's southeast to clear & keep the interior and northwest dry. Showers & wind are likely to ease in WA's southwest as a front slips south.
