A deep low will bring strong winds & widespread rain & storms to WA's west & south, intense & damaging in the southwest. Brisk winds will ease & most showers will clear in SA, Vic & NSW as a high nudges in. A low will bring a burst of wind & showers to Tas.

An intense low will send very strong winds & showers across WA's west & south, into SA & later western Vic & SW NSW. Wind in WA will ease later. Showers elsewhere in NSW & Vic & in Tas should clear as a front moves toward NZ. A high will keep elsewhere in the country dry.

Showers, alpine snow and strong winds should spread across SA, Vic, southeastern NSW and Tas as a front moves east, while a few showers affect southwest WA in an onshore flow. Conditions should remain mostly dry elsewhere across the country under high pressure and drier winds.
