Showers/storms stretch from south to north WA, across northern NT & through inland Qld to north NSW under low pressure & an unstable air mass. Onshore E to SE winds with high pressure brings a few showers to coastal parts from northeast NSW to north tropical Qld.

Wednesday 10:30 z

Showers & storms, some intense, will continue across Qld (heaviest in the NE), the NT’s north & WA’s north, with storms also over WA’s western inland. Hot air over the central & western interior will drift south into SA & WA, while a high and dry winds keep the south dry.

Thursday 10:30 z

A tropical low may approach the NT. Showers & storms will continue to scatter across Qld, the NT’s north and SA’s north in moist, unstable air, with isolated storms in WA's west. Hot air over the western and central interior will filter south into SA and the eastern interior.

Friday 10:30 z

Unstable air & a tropical low will drive storms and heavy rainfall across the northern tropics. Showers & storms will spread through Qld, NSW, the NT & northern SA and WA. Hot air dominates the western & central interior, SA & the eastern interior. A few showers for Tas.

Saturday 10:30 z

The monsoon and a tropical low should bring storms and heavy rainfall to the northern tropics, heaviest over the Top End. Showers & storms should scatter across SE AUS, western WA and W Qld in moist, unstable air and a low.

A monsoonal flow with an embedded low will bring thunderstorms and heavy rainfall to the northern tropics, heaviest over the Top End. Showers and storms will extend into southeast Qld and northeast NSW. A weak front will reach Tas. Hot, gusty winds in northwest WA.
