A surface trough and associated low is bringing heavy rain and thunderstorms to parts of northern Australia. Onshore winds are bringing a few isolated showers to the east coast. Scattered thunderstorms are expected across parts of eastern WA, northern SA, NSW and east Vic.

Low pressure will continue to bring rain and storms for the northern tropics, extending from northwest WA to central Qld. A southerly change will bring gusty showers, rain and storms to northeast NSW and southern Qld. Dry elsewhere under high pressure.

Low pressure should continue to bring rain and storms for the northern tropics, extending from northwest WA to central Qld. Moist onshore flow will bring showers and isolated thunderstorms to eastern Qld. Dry elsewhere under high pressure.

Low pressure should continue to bring rain and storms for the northern tropics, from the Kimberley to north Qld. An approaching cold front will bring showers to Tas. Onshore flow will bring showers and isolated storms to eastern Qld. Dry elsewhere under high pressure.

Low pressure will bring heavy rain and storms to northern WA. Widely scattered showers and storms are expected across the NT, Qld and northeast NSW. A cold front will trigger a few showers and storms over Vic and Tas. Dry elsewhere under high pressure.

Friday 10:30 z

Heavy rain and thunderstorms will be possible over parts of northern WA with a deep low likely offshore to the north. Widely scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected across the NT, Qld and northern NSW. A moist onshore flow will bring showers to western Tas.

Saturday 10:30 z

A deepening low near northern WA should bring heavy rain, strong winds and thunderstorms. Showers and thunderstorms should develop elsewhere in the Tropics with an unstable air mass. Troughs should trigger showers & storms in SW WA, northern SA, SW Qld and across NSW.
