Rain & gusty winds continue to affect eastern NSW near an offshore trough. Deep E'ly winds and a developing monsoon and lows bring heavy rain also to northern Qld, the NT's north and WA's north. Cloud over southeast Qld and WA's interior with troughs is bringing storms.

Monday 10:30 z

An offshore trough will continue to generate rain and storms for eastern NSW, edging north. A tropical low should deepen near the northwest NT, also bringing heavy rain and storms. Warm E'ly winds for the interior. Cooler across the south.

Tuesday 10:30 z

A low should strengthen near northwest Australia and may become a tropical cyclone, causing gusty rain & storms. Gusty rain & storms also for the wider tropics with the monsoon and for the inland near a trough. Showers easing for eastern NSW as a trough weakens. Warm in the south

Wednesday 10:30 z

Tropical lows or cyclones over the northern tropics will enhance gusty monsoonal rain, mostly for WA and Qld. An inland trough and humid winds will bring more showers to Qld, NSW and possibly SA and Vic. Warm, dry and gusty E'ly winds for much of WA and the interior.

Tropical lows or cyclones will continue to enhance gusty monsoonal rain over the north, mainly for the Kimberley and north Qld. A trough will continue to trigger showers & storms for NSW, Vic, inland Qld & possibly Tas. Hot & dry E'ly winds over WA & the interior will spread sout

Tropical lows or cyclones will continue to enhance gusty monsoonal rain over the north. A trough will continue to trigger showers & storms for NSW, Vic, inland Qld & possibly Tas. Hot N'ly winds spreading into SA & western NSW. A cool change for southwest WA.

Saturday 10:30 z

Monsoonal moisture and possible tropical cyclones or tropical lows will bring more heavy rain to the northern Tropics. A hot and unstable N/NW air flow will fuel showers & storms over the Qld interior and parts of NSW, Vic, Tas and SA. Showers with a cold front over southern WA.
