Northerly winds are very hot across northern SA, Vic, western NSW, southwest Qld & southern NT & very warm in Tas. A low is generating strong winds & heavy rain in WA's interior & dragging rain to the Nullarbor. A few storms for southern Qld, heavy rain in Qld's northern tropics.

Wednesday 10:30 z
The remnants of Tropical Cyclone Luana will bring heavy rain over east and southeast WA. Low pressure over north Qld and the Top End will bring heavy rain and storms to the tropics. A cold front could bring light showers to Tas. Onshore winds may bring showers to eastern Qld.

Thursday 10:30 z
Remnants of Tropical Cyclone Luana will bring showers to southeast WA. Low pressure over the tropics and interior will deliver heavy rain and storms across north Qld and the NT, possibly also to northeast WA and the interior. Onshore winds should bring showers to the east coast.

Friday 10:30 z
Low pressure will bring showers, storms and areas of heavy rain across the northern tropics. Easterly winds around high pressure may drive showers and storms across the east coast. Unstable air could bring showers and the odd storm for Vic, southern NSW and northwest WA.

Saturday 10:30 z
Low pressure over the tropics should continue to bring heavy rain and storms over the northern tropics and parts of the northern and western interior. Easterly winds should drive showers over eastern Qld. Unstable air could produce storms over southern and southeast Aus.

Sunday 10:30 z
Low pressure over the tropics should maintain heavy rain and storms over the tropics and parts of the northern and western interior. A cold front may tap into unstable air, generating showers and storms over Tas, Vic, NSW and SA. Easterly winds may bring showers to eastern Qld.

Monday 10:30 z
Low pressure should continue to bring heavy rain and storms for the northern tropic, extending through to northwest WA and central Qld. A cold front may bring gusty showers, rain and storms to central and eastern NSW, Vic and Tas. Dry and settled elsewhere under high pressure.
