Sunday 18:30 z

High pressure systems are driving moist onshore flow across parts of coastal WA, southeast SA, Tas, northeast NSW and Qld, bringing occasional light showers. Dry elsewhere under high pressure.

Monday 09:30 z

A high should ease showers across most of Vic & SA. A few showers should develop over northeast NSW and the Qld coast & western Tas in onshore flow around the high. A strong cold front should generate gusty winds, showers & storms for western WA.

Tuesday 09:30 z

Showers should persist over the east coast in an onshore flow around high pressure. An unstable air mass should support showers & few isolated storms for inland Qld and NSW. A cold front should generate strong winds, heavy showers & storms across western and southern WA.

Wednesday 09:30 z

A cold front over the Bight should generate gusty showers over southern SA, western Tas and Vic. Moist onshore winds continue to bring further showers to eastern Qld and eastern NSW. Unstable air masses should bring showers and storms over inland parts of Qld, NSW and WA.

Thursday 09:30 z

Cold fronts should bring showers to southwest WA, southeast SA, Vic and Tas. A moist and unstable air mass ahead of the front should support showers & some thunderstorms over inland NSW and Qld. A trough of low pressure may generate showers over northwest WA.

Friday 09:30 z

A cold front and trough crossing south of Australia should bring gusty showers to WA, SA and eastern Tas, while high pressure and a trough to the east direct showery onshore winds across Qld, NSW, and parts of Vic.

Saturday 09:30 z

A cold front should bring gusty showers to southeast SA, Vic and Tas, while light showers ease behind the front across WA and SA as high pressure builds. High pressure continues to direct showery onshore winds across coastal Qld and northeast NSW.
