A trough is producing showers over southern Qld, eastern NSW and parts of Vic, Tas and eastern SA. A weak cold front crossing southwest WA is driving some gusty showers. Dry and mostly settled elsewhere under ridges of high pressure.

Tuesday 10:30 z

A trough will trigger showers and storms over northeast WA, southern Qld and northeast NSW, and later western WA. A cold front will bring a burst of showers across central and southeast SA, Vic, Tas and southern and eastern NSW. Clear, dry and warm elsewhere under a high.

Wednesday 10:30 z

Onshore winds behind a cold front pushing up the east coast will bring showers to eastern NSW, and showers and storms for eastern and central Qld. Unstable air ahead of another cold front will bring showers and storms to southern WA. Thundery showers for northeast WA in a trough.

Thursday 10:30 z

A trough and a cold front may trigger showers and storms over WA and western SA. A low could develop over the Tasman Sea, driving showers to eastern Vic, eastern NSW and southeast Qld. Moist winds over the northern tropics and central Qld could trigger the odd shower or storm.

Friday 10:30 z

A front and a trough may trigger gusty showers and thunderstorms across WA and SA and the interior, and possibly Vic and Tas later. Moist and unstable winds could trigger a few showers and storms over north and central Qld, the NT Top End and northeast WA.

Saturday 10:30 z

A cold front could bring widespread showers and some storms for SA, Vic, Tas, NSW and southern Qld. A trough extending north may also bring showers and storms for western Qld, the northern interior and northern tropics. A cold front could generate showers for southwest WA.

Sunday 10:30 z

Cold fronts should continue to produce showers and some storms over much of eastern NSW, southeast Qld, Vic, Tas and southern SA, as well as southern and southwest WA. A trough may bring some showers and storms across parts for the northern interior and the northern tropics.
