Wednesday 11:30 z
A trough over the interior will generate showers and the odd thunderstorm over northeast WA, the NT interior and SA. Cold and gusty SE’ly winds will continue to generate showers over the eastern seaboard. Moist onshore winds may bring the odd shower to the NT’s eastern Top End.

Thursday 11:30 z
A cold front could bring gusty winds and showers to southwest WA. A trough may trigger showers and the odd thunderstorm over SA, the NT interior, southwest Qld and far western NSW. Moist winds around a high will bring showers to northern Tas, eastern NSW and eastern Qld.

Friday 11:30 z
A cold front may bring showers and gusty winds to southern WA, pushing into SA later. A trough could bring showers and the odd storm to SA and western parts of Qld, NSW and Vic. A broad high may send showery onshore winds over coastal parts of NSW, Qld and northern Tas.

A cold front and trough may bring showers and gusty winds to WA, SA, Tas & Vic. A pre-frontal trough could produce showers over inland NSW and southern Qld. A ridge of high pressure may send showery onshore winds over coastal parts of NSW and Qld while keeping elsewhere dry.

A cold front may bring gusty showers to SA, Tas, Vic and southern NSW, falling as now over the Alps and Tas highlands. A ridge of high pressure may send moist winds and a few showers in over WA while keeping the remainder of the country largely dry.
