Unstable air brings a few showers to western Tas, southeast SA, southwest Vic and southern inland WA, with thunderstorms developing over WA. Tropical moisture is also producing patchy rain in northwest WA. Mostly dry elsewhere under high pressure.

Friday 09:30 z
An unstable air mass will bring showers to southern SA, while another unstable air mass followed by a cold front reaches SW WA, delivering a burst of gusty showers. A few light showers may develop over Tas, Vic and coastal Qld, while high pressure keeps most other areas dry.

Saturday 09:30 z
A strong cold front will arc up over southern WA, bringing cold gusty showers and pushing gusty rain and showers ahead of itself over SA, Vic, Tas and southern NSW. A high over eastern Australia will weaken, while SE'ly winds cause showers along the Qld coast.

Sunday 09:30 z
A strong cold front will bring rain, damaging winds, gusty showers, isolated storms and Alpine snow to SA, Vic, Tas, and NSW. Cold, gusty SW'ly winds will push north into the southern NT and Qld. Gusty W'ly winds and another approaching front will bring some showers for SW WA.

A strong cold front will move over eastern Aus early, bringing damaging winds and snow to alpine areas as well as about the tablelands of NSW. Some cold stream showers persisting for Tas, SA and southern WA as another cold front marches across the Bight.

Tuesday 09:30 z
Gusty, damaging W'ly winds shuld persist over the southeast as another strong cold front crosses. Gusty showers and snow showers are expected for Tas, Vic, NSW and SA, easing in WA. Cool and gusty also over the southern NT and Qld.

Wednesday 09:30 z
Damaging W'ly winds should persist over the SE as another strong cold front crosses, bringing showers to Tas, Vic, NSW & SA while easing in WA. Snow will fall over the mainland & Tas. Cool, gusty conditions will also affect southern NT and Qld, with a few showers for WA's south.
