A trough is producing showers and storms over southern Qld and northeastern NSW. A cold front brings gusty showers to southeastern SA, southern Vic and Tas. A deepening trough over western WA brings the odd shower over southwest WA. Dry elsewhere under high pressure.

Wednesday 10:30 z
Onshore winds behind a cold front pushing up the east coast will bring showers to eastern NSW, and showers and storms for eastern and central Qld. Unstable air ahead of another cold front will bring showers and storms to southern WA. Thundery showers for northeast WA in a trough.

Thursday 10:30 z
A trough and a cold front may trigger showers and storms over WA and western SA. A low could develop over the Tasman Sea, driving showers to eastern Vic, eastern NSW and southeast Qld. Moist winds over the northern tropics and central Qld could trigger the odd shower or storm.

Friday 10:30 z
A front and a trough should trigger gusty showers and thunderstorms across southern WA, SA and the interior, and possibly western Qld, NSW, Vic and Tas later. Moist and unstable winds trigger a few showers and storms over the northern tropics and central Qld.

Saturday 10:30 z
A cold front and trough could bring widespread showers and some storms the SA, the NT and eastern Aus. A cold front could generate showers for southwest WA. Clearer over the rest of WA in a dry airmass.

Sunday 10:30 z
Cold fronts should continue to produce showers and some storms over much of eastern NSW, southeast Qld, Vic, Tas, as well as southern and southwest WA and SA. A trough may bring some showers and storms across parts for the northern interior and the northern tropics.

Monday 10:30 z
A front and low pressure system could bring widespread showers and storms to the interior, SA, west and southern Qld, NSW, Vic and Tas. Onshore winds bring showers to southern WA and parts of eastern Qld. Clearer over the rest of WA in a drier airmass.
