Very hot northerly winds are blowing across SA, northern Vic, western NSW, southwest Qld & southern NT. A low is generating strong winds & heavy rain in WA's north & is dragging rain to the state's interior & southeast. Showers & storms for NE NSW, south Qld & northern tropics.

Ex-Tropical Cyclone Luana will track south, bringing heavy rain through large swathes of eastern WA. A weak low over north Qld will also maintain rain and storms over north Qld and the Top End. Unstable air will bring showers and storms to central and southeast Qld.

The remnants of Tropical Cyclone Luana will bring heavy rain over east and southeast WA. Low pressure over north Qld and the Top End will bring heavy rain and storms to the tropics. A cold front could bring light showers to Tas. Onshore winds may bring showers to eastern Qld.
