A trough will move offshore, with showers and storms continuing over Qld, NSW, Vic and Tas. A cold front should drive showers and the odd storm over western WA. Onshore winds may bring some showers over parts of tropics.

Thursday 09:30 z
A cold front and trough crossing WA bring showers and storms across the south and east of the state. Southerly winds in the wake of a low bring showers to southeast Qld, and eastern NSW and Vic. Westerly airstream brings showers to western Tas. Dry elsewhere in high pressure.
