A tropical low over inland north Qld will bring heavy rain, brisk winds and thunderstorms to north, central & eastern Qld. Afternoon showers and storms are likely across the Top End and far north WA. A few storms may form over eastern NSW and southern/central WA.

Low pressure will remain over north Qld with heavy rain and thunderstorms persisting over northern, central and eastern parts of the state. Onshore winds will bring showers to eastern NSW and southern WA. Strong southeasterly winds expected for southern WA.
