Friday 10:30 z

Severe Tropical Cyclone Narelle is expected to bring destructive winds and flooding rainfall to north tropical Qld. Moist, onshore winds direct showers over eastern NSW & coastal Qld. Instability over northern WA, NT, & into SA brings showers with storms mainly in the north.

Saturday 10:30 z

Tropical Cyclone Narelle moves over gulf waters with gales & flooding rain over the Gulf region & showers & storms across the remaining tropics. Moist onshore winds bring showers to coastal areas from Qld to eastern Vic with added instability bringing storms over inland NSW.

Sunday 10:30 z

Tropical Cyclone Narelle should bring very gusty winds & flooding rain as it weakens passing over the NT's Top End. Showers & storms to continue over north Qld within an active monsoon. Continual onshore winds maintain showers & storms about eastern NSW & southeast Qld.

Monday 10:30 z

A tropical low (ex-Cyclone Narelle) brings gusty winds & heavy rain (flooding) for north WA. An active monsoon maintains showers & storms across the remaining northern tropics. Some further showers for coastal parts from central NSW to north Qld within a ridge and onshore winds.

Tuesday 10:30 z

Tropical Cyclone Narelle may redevelop off the north WA coast with possible coastal impacts. An active monsoon brings showers & storms to the remaining northern tropics. A weak front should bring showers to WA's south & Tas. Onshore winds bring coastal showers from SE Qld to Vic.

Wednesday 10:30 z

Possible TC Narelle continues west off the northwest WA coast with potential for coastal impacts. An active monsoon brings showers & storms to the far northern tropics. A cold front introduces rain & showers to SA, Vic and later Tas. An offshore low brings showers to coastal NSW.
