Thursday 13:30 z

A strong high over southern Australia is sending blustery winds and showers across Tas, Vic and southeastern SA, while driving gusty winds across the northern and central interior. Easterly winds around the high bring showers over the eastern Top End and Far North Qld.

Friday 09:30 z

A strong high over southeastern Australia will drive showers onto western Tas, coastal Vic, northeast NSW and southeast Qld. The same high drives dry, gusty winds across the north and brings showers to the Top End. A cold front will bring late showers to southwest WA.

Saturday 09:30 z

A cold front will bring early showers to southwest WA, while a high over southeastern Australia will bring showers to coastal NSW and the southeast and northeast Qld coasts. The same high will send warm, dry northerlies into SA and gusty winds across the north of the country.

Sunday 09:30 z

A cold front will bring showers to southeast SA and later Tasmania and Vic. A strong Tasman Sea high will send showers onto the NSW and Qld coasts and maintain gusty winds across the north.

Monday 09:30 z

A Tasman Sea high should drive showers to the Qld and north NSW coasts in onshore winds, and maintains gusty winds across the inland north. Low pressure over Tas may produce showers over southern SA, Vic and Tas. Low pressure near northwest WA should generate showers.

Tuesday 09:30 z

Low pressure departing Tas could bring gusty showers across Tas, Vic, southeast SA and southern NSW. High pressure over the interior should maintain showers over the east coast and Top End. Low pressure near the western WA coast may bring increasing showers and the odd storm.

Wednesday 09:30 z

A low over the Tasman Sea should bring showers to Tas, Vic and southeast NSW. A low pressure system should bring gusty showers to much of southern and western WA. High pressure should maintain dry conditions over the interior while onshore winds bring showers to northeast Qld.
