Areas of low pressure across the tropics are generating showers and storms with heavy rainfall over north and northeast Qld. Showers extend south into the NT, inland WA and western SA, while onshore winds are bringing showers to western Tasmania and eastern NSW.

A broad region of low pressure will maintain heavy rain and storms across the tropics, heaviest in north Qld and the NT. Showers & storms over north and eastern WA and western SA. Showers over western Tas in a front & over east and NE NSW in an unstable air mass.

Saturday 10:30 z

A broad region of low pressure will maintain heavy rain & storms across the tropics. Showers & storms will extend into north & eastern WA and western & northern SA. Further east, showers & storms will affect eastern & northeast NSW in an unstable airmass, including Sydney.

Sunday 10:30 z

A broad low will maintain heavy rain and storms across the tropics. A front and unstable air mass should bring widespread showers and scattered storms to southern and southeastern Aus. Unstable winds may bring showers to eastern NSW and Qld.

Monday 10:30 z

A broad region of low pressure will maintain heavy rain and storms across the tropics and interior, with the heaviest falls over the NT. An unstable airmass and a front may bring showers and storms to southeastern Australia, before high pressure builds in behind the system.

Tuesday 10:30 z

A broad region of low pressure will maintain rain and storms across the tropics. Showers and storms will extend into SA, southern NSW and Vic as an unstable airmass dips southwards. A few showers are expected over eastern NSW and Qld in onshore winds.

Wednesday 10:30 z

A broad low pressure system will sustain rain & storms across the tropics. Showers & storms will extend into SA, with showers spreading across southern NSW & Vic as an unstable airmass drifts south & east. Onshore winds will also bring showers to eastern NSW & Qld.
