A trough and low over the tropics is bringing heavy rainfall. A trough is spreading heavy rainfall from the tropics across the interior down to SA. Another trough is causing storms across northwest WA. Southerly winds are bringing patchy light rain to southeast SA & southern Vic.

A southeasterly airstream will send showers over Qld’s east coast, heavy in the north. The monsoon trough across northern WA and the NT Top End and a stream of tropical moisture extending south into central and southeast Aus will generate showers and storms, heavy over SA.

A tropical moisture stream will maintain showers and thunderstorms over northern WA and the NT, extending into northern SA and inland NSW where heavy rain is possible. An offshore tropical low and a SE’ly airstream may produce showers and storms over eastern NSW and eastern Qld.

A tropical low may approach the northeast Qld coast, producing heavy rain, gusty winds and thunderstorms. The monsoon trough should maintain showers and storms across northern WA and the NT. A trough may trigger showers and thunderstorms over NSW, eastern Vic and southeast Qld.
