Saturday 18:30 z

Cool southwest to westerly winds are driving showers over southeast SA, Vic and Tas. An unstable airmass is bringing just the odd shower to parts of western and central WA. High pressure centred over Vic and southern NSW will bring a clear, cool night to the rest of the country.

Sunday 09:30 z

Showers will develop over northeast NSW and eastern Qld in onshore winds around a high. Onshore winds will also bring a few showers to western Tas, coastal Vic, southwest WA and southeast SA. Mostly dry elsewhere under broad high pressure and drier winds.

Monday 09:30 z

A high should ease showers across most of Vic & SA. A few showers should develop over northeast NSW, the Qld coast & western Tas in onshore flow around the high. A strong cold front should generate gusty winds, showers & storms for western WA.

Tuesday 09:30 z

Showers should persist over the east coast and northern Tas in an onshore flow around a high. An unstable air mass should support showers & isolated storms for inland Qld and NSW. A cold front should generate strong winds, heavy showers & storms across western and southern WA.

Wednesday 09:30 z

A cold front over the Bight should generate gusty showers over southern SA, western Tas and Vic. Moist onshore winds should bring further showers to eastern Qld and eastern NSW. Unstable air masses should bring showers and storms over inland parts of Qld, NSW and WA.

Thursday 09:30 z

Cold fronts should bring showers to southwest WA, southeast SA, Vic and Tas. A moist and unstable air mass ahead of the front should support showers & some thunderstorms over NSW and Qld. A trough of low pressure should generate showers over northwest WA.

Friday 09:30 z

Cold fronts crossing to the south of Aus should bring gusty showers across coastal parts of southern WA, Vic and Tas. A trough may bring heavy showers and some storms stretching from northwest WA to SA. High pressure should direct showery onshore winds over the east coast.
