Moist easterly winds are bringing showers and isolated storms to northeast NSW, Qld's east and the eastern Top End. Unstable air is generating showers and some storms over SA, western Vic and Tas. Tropical moisture feeding into northwest WA is bringing patchy rain.

Monday 09:30 z
Rain and storms, some heavy, will be scattered across WA's west as moisture feeds a trough. A trough will shift east from the southern interior, allowing showers and storms to ease over inland SA and NSW but shift into northeast NSW and southeast Qld later in the day.

Tuesday 09:30 z
A cold front should trigger showers and thunderstorms over WA’s west and south and may cause showers over SA’s south and Tas’s west later. A trough and moist southeasterly winds may continue to trigger showers and thunderstorms over eastern Qld and northeast NSW.

Wednesday 09:30 z
Fronts crossing southern Aus may trigger showers and storms over southern WA and western Tas. A trough and southeasterly winds may continue to trigger showers and storms over eastern Qld and northeast NSW. Showery E’ly winds for the NT Top End. Dry elsewhere with high pressure.

A front and associated trough may trigger showers and storms over WA’s west and south. A trough and southeasterly winds may continue to trigger showers and storms over eastern Qld and eastern NSW. Showery E’ly winds for the NT Top End. Dry elsewhere with high pressure.

Friday 09:30 z
A cold front and trailing upper trough should generate showers & thunderstorms across WA's south and possibly SA's west. Moist E'ly winds should continue directing showers & isolated storms across eastern Qld and eastern NSW, as well as the NT's eastern Top End.

Saturday 09:30 z
A low pressure system will generate showers & thunderstorms with gusty winds over Vic, Tas, NSW and southeast SA. Moist SE winds should bring showers to southern WA, northeast NSW and eastern Qld. High pressure should keep northern WA and most of the NT dry.
