A front is bringing rain & storms, some intense, to WA's west & south. Isolated showers & storms are affecting WA's north in a trough. Showers in eastern Australia are becoming confined to eastern NSW as a trough weakens. A high is keeping Qld, Vic, Tas, SA & the NT largely dry.

Friday 09:30 z
A low pressure trough will bring rain to WA and western SA as it weakens. A high pressure ridge will continue to dominate over southeast Aus, bringing mostly clear skies but directing the odd shower over the eastern Qld and NSW coasts. A cold front will bring gusty showers to Tas

Saturday 09:30 z
A trough over WA will persist through a deep layer of atmosphere, bringing another day of showers & storms. A strong high will dominate southeast Aus, bringing mostly clear skies but directing the odd shower over western Tas & coastal Vic, NSW & Qld. Dry for the NT and interior.

Sunday 09:30 z
A low pressure trough over WA will weaken but still bring the odd shower. A strong high will continue to dominate over southeast Aus, bringing mostly clear skies with the odd shower for Tas and east coastal NSW and Qld. Dry, gusty SE'ly winds over the interior and Top End.

Monday 09:30 z
A strong high pressure ridge will finally shift eastward over NSW and even southeast Qld. Another dry day then over most of southeast Aus with some increasing showers for east coastal Qld. A cold front will approach southwest WA, drawing warm N'ly winds ahead of itself.

Tuesday 09:30 z
A cold front will slide southeastward to brush SA & Vic, bringing gusty rain & highland snow to Tas while leaving some post-frontal showers over far southwest WA. Some storms for the Top End. A high pressure cell displaced well north will continue to direct showers over east Qld.
