Residual moisture from ex-TC Narelle is fueling showers and thunderstorms over much of WA, mainly in the far east. Onshore flow is bringing showers to Qld's east coast. Most of the eastern interior is dry under a ridge of high pressure.

Tuesday 10:30 z
A trough, cold front and low should bring showers and storms to southern and eastern WA. Onshore winds should bring some showers to northeast NSW and eastern Qld. High pressure should maintain dry weather elsewhere.

Wednesday 10:30 z
Onshore winds should bring showers to eastern Qld & northeast NSW. A trough & cold front will bring a few showers to southeast WA, western & southern SA, southwest Vic & western Tas. Onshore winds may bring showers to southwest WA & the Top End.

Thursday 10:30 z
Onshore winds should bring showers through eastern and north Qld, the Top End and northeast NSW. An approaching front should drive showers to Tas & southern Vic. An unstable trough could produce some storms across northwest WA.

A cold front should bring showers to Vic, Tas and southeast NSW. Onshore winds should bring showers to northeast NSW and eastern Qld. An unstable air mass will support showers & storms over northern Qld and the NT's north. A trough should bring showers & storms to southern WA.

Saturday 10:30 z
Onshore flow will bring showers to eastern Vic, eastern NSW and much of the Qld coast. An unstable air mass will promote showers & storms over far north Qld, the NT's north and WA's Kimberley. A surface trough will bring showers & storms to southern WA.

Onshore winds should bring showers to southern WA, southeastern Vic, eastern NSW and eastern Qld. An unstable air mass should generate showers and thunderstorms over far north Qld, the NT's north and northeast WA. A trough should trigger showers and storms over central WA.
