Showers and thunderstorms, some intense, for northern and central WA, the NT, northern SA, Qld and northern NSW in hot, humid unstable winds. Showers and the odd thunderstorm for eastern Vic and southeast NSW in moist winds. Showers for southern Tas in gusty westerly winds.

Thursday 10:30 z
Instability over NSW being fed moisture from onshore winds will cause thunderstorms with heavy rainfall over northern/eastern NSW and southern Qld. Onshore winds will bring showers to northern Qld. A moist and unstable air mass will produce storms over the northern tropics.

Friday 10:30 z
Low pressure troughs over NSW, Qld, the NT and WA's north and east will cause showers and thunderstorms with the heaviest rainfall over NSW. Onshore winds will bring showers to eastern Qld and southern WA. High pressure over Tas will lead to mainly dry conditions.

Saturday 10:30 z
Areas of low pressure will bring widely scattered showers and thunderstorms to NSW, Vic, southern Qld, the NT, northern/eastern WA and northern SA. Onshore winds will bring showers to eastern Qld. A cold front will bring some gusty showers across western and southern Tas.

Sunday 10:30 z
A cold front crossing Tas will bring strong winds, rain and some storms to Tas and gusty showers to coastal Vic. Low pressure troughs will bring scattered showers and storms to northeast NSW, Qld, the NT and northern WA. A high over the bight will keep elsewhere dry and settled.

Monday 10:30 z
A deep low in the Tasman should bring scattered showers to Tas with isolated showers for coastal Vic. Low pressure troughs will bring scattered showers & storms to northeast NSW, Qld, the NT and northern and western WA. High pressure will promote dry weather near the Bight.

Tuesday 10:30 z
Onshore winds feeding areas of low pressure over Qld and northeast NSW should bring showers and storms, with areas of heavy rain over Qld. Low pressure may bring showers and storms across much of the tropical north, and western WA. Westerlies could bring showers to western Tas.
