Friday 18:30 z
Severe TC Narelle is causing destructive winds and heavy rain over northwest WA. Rain and storms are spreading south along WA's west. An offshore low is maintaining gusty winds & rain across southeastern NSW and eastern Vic. Onshore winds are bringing showers to Vic and Tas.

Saturday 10:30 z
Tropical Cyclone Narelle will cross western and southwest WA, bringing heavy rain, damaging winds and storms. Rain, strong winds and alpine snow will ease for Vic and eastern NSW near an offshore low. High pressure will extend north, clearing most showers for the tropics.

Sunday 10:30 z
Ex-Tropical Cyclone Narelle will depart southwest WA, easing conditions. High pressure building over southeast Aus should confine showers to southern Vic and Tas in onshore winds. The high extending over the continent should also bring some light showers over the tropics.

Monday 10:30 z
A low pressure system should approach southwest WA, bringing gusty showers across western, central and southern WA. High pressure near the east coast should extend over the continent, bringing light showers to coastal parts of NSW, Qld and the NT.

Tuesday 10:30 z
A trough, cold front and low should bring showers and storms to southern and eastern WA. A trough near the Qld coast should bring some showers and storms. Onshore winds should bring some showers to northeast NSW. High pressure should keep elsewhere mostly dry.

Wednesday 10:30 z
Onshore winds and a trough off the Qld coast should bring showers to eastern Qld & northeast NSW. A trough & cold front will bring a few showers to southeast WA, western & southern SA, southwest Vic & western Tas. Onshore winds may bring showers to southwest WA & the Top End.

Thursday 10:30 z
Onshore winds as well as a trough offshore could bring showers through eastern and north Qld, the Top End and northeast NSW. An approaching front should drive showers to Tas & southern Vic. An unstable trough could produce some storms across northwest WA.
