Showers & storms, some intense, will scatter across southern Qld, NSW, Vic, Tas & SA as troughs merge. Showers & storms will also scatter across inland & northern WA, the NT & far north Qld. A cold front will cool SA & later western Vic with gusty, mainly dry southerly winds.

Sunday 10:30 z
A front will bring strong, colder winds, showers, small hail & highland snow to Tas, & strong cooling winds & showers to Vic & southern NSW. A high will clear much of the country's south with dry, gusty winds. A low will draw hot winds to WA's west. Storms for WA, the NT & Qld.

A high will cause brisk winds to ease & most showers to clear in Tas, Vic & NSW & keep SA & much of the interior dry with gusty winds. Storms, some intense, will affect much of Qld, the NT's north & WA's north & western inland as troughs combine with moisture. Hot winds for WA.

Tuesday 10:30 z
Low pressure troughs will bring scattered showers and storms to east and northern NSW, Qld, the NT and north and western WA, heaviest over Qld. Cool westerlies could bring some showers over Tas and southwest WA. High pressure over the Bight should keep elsewhere dry and settled.

Wednesday 10:30 z
Low pressure troughs should bring areas of heavy rain and storms over northern NSW, Qld, the northern NT and northern WA, heaviest over eastern Qld. Onshore winds may bring the odd storm to southwest WA. High pressure over southern Aus should keep elsewhere dry and settled.
