Sunday 19:30 z

Gusty rain and storms for Vic and NSW near a low, some intense. Showers and storms extend in a band to western Qld, the NT and WA in a trough. A tropical low near the Qld/NT border is enhancing storms there. Mostly dry in the northeast and southwest with high pressure ridges.

Monday 10:30 z

A low and cold front will bring rain, strong winds and storms to Vic, NSW and Tas, some severe. Low pressure will bring heavy rain and storms to the NT's eastern Top End with showers and storms elsewhere across the tropics and the eastern interior. Dry for southwest WA.

Tuesday 10:30 z

Westerly winds behind a cold front will drive a few gusty showers through Tas and southern Vic. Monsoonal flow and a trough will bring thunderstorms and heavy rain to the tropics, heaviest in the NT and northwest Qld. Hot and mostly dry for east Qld, NSW and western WA.

Wednesday 10:30 z

Monsoonal moisture will fuel rain and thunderstorms across the tropics, with showers and storms spreading to eastern Qld and northeast NSW via a stalled trough. Dry and hot easterlies around a ridge for southern WA and showery southwesterlies in a cold front for Vic and Tas.

Thursday 10:30 z

Monsoonal moisture will continue to fuel rain and storms across the tropics. A surface trough will continue to trigger showers and storms over Qld and northeast NSW. Cool and showery southwesterlies for Tas and Vic near cold fronts while a high keeps elsewhere dry.

Friday 10:30 z

Showers, rain and storms continuing over the northern tropics with monsoonal type flow, and over Qld and far northeast NSW with a trough. A high will keep much of the south dry, sending cool to mild SW winds over Tas, Vic and NSW and hot E'ly winds over southwest WA.

Saturday 10:30 z

Showers, heavy rain & storms continuing for the northern tropics with a possible low near the Kimberley. Showers & storms also for Qld with a lingering, very slow-moving trough. A high will keep the south mostly dry, sending mild SW winds over Tas, Vic & NSW & hot E'lies over WA.
