Australian Government Bureau of Meteorology, National Water Operations Minor Flood Warning For The Wilsons River Issued at 06:14 AM AEST on Tuesday 19 May 2026 Flood Warning Number: 4 MINOR FLOODING LIKELY AT LISMORE LATE TUESDAY MORNING Moderate to heavy rainfall since Sunday night has led to river level rises along the Wilsons River, with minor flooding likely at Lismore from late Tuesday morning. Rainfall has eased, and no further heavy rainfall is expected. Wilsons River: Minor flooding is possible along the Wilsons River. The Wilsons River at Lismore is currently at 2.98 m AHD and rising, below the minor flood level. The Wilsons River at Lismore is likely to exceed the minor flood level (4.20 m AHD) Tuesday morning. The river may peak near 4.60 m AHD Tuesday afternoon, with minor flooding. Flood Safety Advice: Don't drive, walk, swim or play in floodwater because it is dangerous. Stay away from flooded drains, rivers, streams and waterways. Obey road closure signs. Plan ahead so you don't drive on flooded roads. Check the ABC and local media for updates.
