DAMAGING WINDS EXPECTED THURSDAY NIGHT WITH THE PASSAGE OF A VIGOROUS FRONT. WINDS ARE EXPECTED TO EASE FRIDAY MORNING.
Weather Situation
A vigorous cold front passing over the island tonight into tomorrow is expected to bring damaging winds to the island before easing tomorrow morning as the front moves east away from the island.
Damaging winds exceeding 65 km/h and damaging wind gusts exceeding 90 km/h are expected tonight and into the morning of Friday.

The NSW State Emergency Service advise you:
Move your car under cover or away from trees.
Secure loose outdoor items.
Never drive, walk or ride through flood waters. If it's flooded, forget it.
Seek shelter, preferably indoors and never under trees.
Avoid using the telephone during a thunderstorm.
Beware of fallen trees and powerlines.
