for Wollondilly/Wingecarribee and Greater Wollongong areas.

Thunderstorms that produced heavy rainfall over Wollongong have moved offshore.

Wollondilly/Wingecarribee and Greater Wollongong
Severe thunderstorms are no longer affecting Sydney Newcastle Wollongong and surrounding areas. This warning is now cancelled. Further thunderstorms with heavy rainfall are possible this evening.
59.0 mm was recorded at Cringila (Jarvie Rd) in the 1 hour to 4:27 pm.
53.5 mm was recorded at East Kangaloon in the 1 hour to 3:30 pm
The State Emergency Service advises that people should:
* Keep clear of fallen power lines.
* Keep clear of creeks and storm drains.
* Don't walk, ride your bike or drive through flood water.
* Beware of fallen trees or debris on the road.
