Issued at 4:28 pm Tuesday, 3 March 2026. Weather Situation A trough extends through the central west of NSW, embedded within a very humid tropical airmass. Thunderstorm activity has weakened in the past hour in this area. cancellation of severe thunderstorm warning for the following areas: Central Tablelands, Central West Slopes and Plains and South West Slopes This warning is now cancelled. The State Emergency Service advises that people should: * Keep clear of fallen power lines. * Keep clear of creeks and storm drains. * Don't walk, ride your bike or drive through flood water. * Beware of fallen trees or debris on the road.
