Australian Government Bureau of Meteorology, National Water Operations Minor Flood Warning For The Bogan River Issued at 10:12 AM AEST on Monday 06 July 2026 Flood Warning Number: 2 MINOR FLOODING POSSIBLE AT DANDALOO FROM LATE MONDAY Recent moderate rainfall in the Bogan River catchment upstream of Dandaloo has caused river level rises at Peak Hill, where the river peaked below the minor flood level last Friday. Floodwaters from Peak Hill, combined with flows from several tributaries, may cause minor flooding along the Bogan River at Dandaloo from late Monday. Bogan River to Nyngan: Minor flooding is possible along the Bogan River at Dandaloo. The Bogan River at Dandaloo is currently at 0.80 m and steady, below the minor flood level. The Bogan River at Dandaloo may reach around the minor flood level (4.10 m) from late Monday. Flood Safety Advice: Don't drive, walk, swim or play in floodwater because it is dangerous. Stay away from flooded drains, rivers, streams and waterways. Obey road closure signs. Plan ahead so you don't drive on flooded roads. Check the ABC and local media for updates.
