As this flow moves downstream minor flooding is possible Wednesday morning at Coraki. Minor flooding is possible late Tuesday evening at Ballina with the arrival of upstream flow and the high tide. Rainfall has eased, and no further heavy rainfall is expected. Richmond River: Minor flooding is possible at Coraki and Ballina. The Richmond River at Coraki is currently at 2.14 m and steady, below the minor flood level. The Richmond River at Coraki may peak near the minor flood level (3.40 m) from Wednesday morning. The Richmond River at Ballina (Burns Point) is currently at 0.62 m and falling with the tide, below the minor flood level. The Richmond River at Ballina (Burns Point) may reach around the minor flood level (2.00 m) late Tuesday evening. Flood Safety Advice: Don't drive, walk, swim or play in floodwater because it is dangerous. Stay away from flooded drains, rivers, streams and waterways. Obey road closure signs.
