Flood waters arriving from the Paroo River in Queensland have caused river level rises, with minor flooding occurring at Willara Crossing where a minor peak is possible Saturday afternoon. Renewed rises are possible from late Sunday as a second flood peak currently near Caiwarro in Queensland is expected to reach Willara Crossing. This situation is being monitored, and this warning will be updated as required. Further showers are forecast for the next few days. A minor flood warning is current for the Paroo River (QLD). Paroo River (NSW): Minor flooding occurring at Willara Crossing. The Paroo River at Willara Crossing is currently at 1.00 m and rising slowly, with minor flooding. The Paroo River at Willara Crossing may peak near 1.10 m Saturday afternoon, with minor flooding. The river may remain above the minor flood level (0.70 m) for the next few days.
