Australian Government Bureau of Meteorology, National Water Operations Initial Minor Flood Warning For The Tully River Issued at 02:48 PM AEST on Saturday 14 March 2026 Flood Warning Number: 1 MINOR FLOODING POSSIBLE AT EURAMO SUNDAY MORNING Moderate to heavy rainfall since Friday afternoon has caused river level rises across the Tully catchment. Further rainfall is forecast for the remainder of Saturday into Sunday. Minor flooding is possible along the Tully River at Euramo from Sunday morning. Tully River: Minor flooding is possible along the Tully River at Euramo. The Tully River at Euramo is currently at 3.45 m and rising, below the minor flood level. With forecast rainfall, the Tully River at Euramo may exceed the minor flood level (6.00 m) from Sunday morning. The river may reach around 7.00 m Sunday afternoon, with minor flooding. Further rises are possible if heavy rainfall persists. Flood Safety Advice: Don't drive, walk, swim or play in floodwater because it is dangerous. Stay away from flooded drains, rivers, streams and waterways. Obey road closure signs. Plan ahead so you don't drive on flooded roads. Check the ABC and local media for updates.
