Upstream at Condamine Township, moderate flooding is easing, while moderate flooding is continuing to ease along Charleys Creek. No significant rainfall is forecast for the next few days. Condamine River downstream of Oakey Creek to Cotswold: Major flooding is occurring along the Lower Condamine River at Cotswold and upstream at Condamine Township moderate flooding is easing. The Condamine River at Chinchilla Weir TW is currently at 5.69 m and falling, below the minor flood level. The Condamine River at Chinchilla Weir TW is expected to remain below the minor flood level (6.00 m). The Condamine River at Condamine peaked at 8.10 m around 08:30 am Friday, with major flooding. The river is currently at 7.85 m and falling, with moderate flooding. The Condamine River at Condamine may fall below the moderate flood level (7.00 m) overnight Saturday into Sunday. Charleys Creek: Moderate flooding is occurring along Charleys Creek at Chinchilla and upstream at Burncluith Bridge. The Charleys Creek at Chinchilla is currently at 5.21 m and falling, with moderate flooding. The Charleys Creek at Chinchilla may fall below the moderate flood level (5.00 m) overnight Saturday into Sunday.
