MODERATE FLOODING EASING SLOWLY AT GLENGYLE
Moderate flooding will continue to gradually ease through the lower Eyre Creek catchment during the next few days. Showers and thunderstorms are forecast over areas to the north today and Saturday, but are unlikely to result in renewed rises in the Eyre Creek catchment.
Eyre Creek:
Moderate flooding is slowly easing at Glengyle. Bedourie is no longer experiencing flooding.
The Eyre Creek at Bedourie is currently at 3.49 m and falling, below the minor flood level.
The Eyre Creek at Bedourie is expected to remain below the minor flood level (3.50 m).
The Eyre Creek at Glengyle was at 3.50 m and steady at 9:00 am on Friday, with moderate flooding.
The Eyre Creek at Glengyle is likely to remain above the moderate flood level (3.00 m) over the weekend.

Don't drive, walk, swim or play in floodwater because it is dangerous.
Stay away from flooded drains, rivers, streams and waterways.
Obey road closure signs. Plan ahead so you don't drive on flooded roads.
