River levels are falling and flooding have eased along the Mulgrave and Russell Rivers. Further rainfall is forecast later this week, which may cause renewed river level rises. The situation is being closely monitored, and a new warning will be issued if required. Mulgrave River: River levels are easing along the Mulgrave River. Minor flooding has eased at The Fisheries. The Mulgrave River at Peets Bridge is currently at 3.16 m and steady, below the minor flood level. The Mulgrave River at Peets Bridge is likely to remain below the minor flood level (5.00 m). The Mulgrave River at Gordonvale is currently at 8.90 m and steady, below the minor flood level. The Mulgrave River at Gordonvale is likely to remain below the minor flood level (12.00 m).
