Upstream river levels continue to fall along the Thomson River and flooding has eased along the Barcoo River. Thomson River: Moderate flooding is easing at Jundah. Minor flooding is easing at Stonehenge. The Thomson River at Stonehenge is currently at 2.35 m and falling, with minor flooding. The Thomson River at Stonehenge may fall below the minor flood level (2.00 m) overnight Wednesday into Thursday. The Thomson River at Jundah is currently at 4.22 m and falling, with moderate flooding. The Thomson River at Jundah may fall below the moderate flood level (4.00 m) during Thursday. The river may fall below the minor flood level (2.50 m) from the weekend. Barcoo River downstream of Isisford: Flooding is no longer occurring at Retreat. The Barcoo River at Retreat is currently at 1.69 m and falling, below the minor flood level. The Barcoo River at Retreat is expected to remain below the minor flood level (2.14 m). Cooper Creek: Major flooding is easing at Windorah. The Cooper Creek at Windorah is currently at 5.18 m and falling, with major flooding. The Cooper Creek at Windorah may fall below the major flood level (5.00 m) overnight Wednesday into Thursday. The creek may fall below the moderate flood level (4.57 m) from Friday. Flood Safety Advice: Don't drive, walk, swim or play in floodwater because it is dangerous. Stay away from flooded drains, rivers, streams and waterways. Obey road closure signs.
