MINOR FLOODING LIKELY AT QUILPIE FROM SUNDAY AFTERNOON
Recent localised heavy rainfall over parts of the upper Bulloo catchment has caused river level rises, with a peak around the minor flood level observed Saturday evening at Milroy. Downstream, river level rises are occurring at Quilpie, where the river level is likely to reach the minor flood level from Sunday afternoon.
Bulloo River to Quilpie:
Minor flooding is likely along the Bulloo River to Quilpie.
The Bulloo River at Quilpie is currently at 2.59 m and rising, below the minor flood level.
The Bulloo River at Quilpie is likely to reach the minor flood level (3.00 m) from Sunday afternoon. Further rises are possible as upstream flows arrive.

Don't drive, walk, swim or play in floodwater because it is dangerous.
Stay away from flooded drains, rivers, streams and waterways.
