Elsewhere along the Diamantina River, flooding has eased. No significant rainfall is forecast for the next few days. Diamantina River downstream of Diamantina Lakes: Minor flooding is no longer occurring at Birdsville. The Diamantina River at Birdsville Police Station is currently at 3.80 m and steady, below the minor flood level (4.00 m).
