MODERATE FLOODING EASING SLOWLY AT GLENGYLE AND BEDOURIE
Moderate flooding will continue to gradually ease through the lower Eyre Creek catchment over the next few days. Showers and thunderstorms are forecast over areas to the north from Thursday, but are unlikely to result in renewed rises in the Eyre Creek catchment.
Eyre Creek:
Moderate flooding is slowly easing at Glengyle and at Bedourie.
The Eyre Creek at Bedourie was at 4.50 m and steady at 9:00 am on Wednesday, with moderate flooding.
The Eyre Creek at Bedourie is likely to remain above the moderate flood level (4.00 m) during the next few days.
The Eyre Creek at Glengyle is currently at 3.60 m and steady at 9:00 am on Wednesday, with moderate flooding.
The Eyre Creek at Glengyle is likely to remain above the moderate flood level (3.00 m) during the next few days.
