Moderate flooding may continue along the Suttor River at St Anns for the remainder of Tuesday and into Wednesday. A chance of showers and thunderstorms is forecast across parts of the Burdekin River catchment over the next few days. This rainfall is not expected to cause significant additional river level rises. Belyando and Suttor Rivers to Burdekin Falls Dam: Moderate flooding is occurring along the Suttor River at St Anns. The Suttor River at St Anns is currently at 6.93 m and steady, with moderate flooding. The Suttor River at St Anns may remain above the moderate flood level (6.50 m) for the remainder of Tuesday and into Wednesday as upstream flows arrive. Flood Safety Advice: Don't drive, walk, swim or play in floodwater because it is dangerous. Stay away from flooded drains, rivers, streams and waterways. Obey road closure signs.
