This is likely to result in river and creek level rises. With forecast rainfall, minor flooding is possible at Pacific Haven and Howard from Sunday afternoon. A Flood Watch is current for most of Queensland. Burrum and Cherwell Rivers: Minor flooding is possible at Howard and Pacific Haven. The Burrum River at Howard is currently at 4.86 m and steady, below the minor flood level. With forecast rainfall, the Burrum River at Howard may exceed the minor flood level (6.00 m) from Sunday afternoon. Further rises are possible. The Cherwell River at Pacific Haven is currently at 0.34 m and falling, below the minor flood level. With forecast rainfall, the Cherwell River at Pacific Haven may exceed the minor flood level (2.50 m) from Sunday afternoon. Further rises are possible.
