Australian Government Bureau of Meteorology, National Water Operations Moderate Flood Warning For Eyre Creek Issued at 12:57 PM AEST on Wednesday 11 February 2026 Flood Warning Number: 32 MODERATE FLOODING TO CONTINUE AT GLENGYLE AND GRADUALLY EASE AT BEDOURIE The flood peak along Eyre Creek has passed Bedourie and is approaching Glengyle, where moderate flooding is estimated to be rising slowly. River levels are expected to remain elevated over the next few days along the Eyre Creek. Showers and thunderstorms are forecast over parts of the catchment for the next couple days, however this is not expected to have a significant impact on river levels. Eyre Creek: Moderate flooding is occurring along Eyre Creek. Minor flooding is occurring along King Creek at Cluny. At 9am Wednesday, the Eyre Creek at Bedourie was observed at 4.29 m and falling, with moderate flooding. The Eyre Creek at Bedourie is expected to remain above the moderate flood level (4.00 m) during Wednesday. The creek may fall below the moderate flood level (4.00 m) during Thursday. At 9am Monday, the Eyre Creek at Glengyle was observed at at 3.40 m and rising, with moderate flooding. The Eyre Creek at Glengyle is expected to remain above the moderate flood level (3.00 m) for the next few days. Flood Safety Advice: Don't drive, walk, swim or play in floodwater because it is dangerous. Stay away from flooded drains, rivers, streams and waterways. Obey road closure signs.
