Further downstream at Thargomindah, minor flooding is possible from overnight Friday into Saturday, and moderate flooding is possible from Sunday as upstream flows arrive. Bulloo River to Quilpie: Moderate flooding is slowly easing along the Bulloo River at Quilpie. The Bulloo River at Quilpie is currently at 4.60 m and falling, with moderate flooding. The Bulloo River at Quilpie is likely to remain above the moderate flood level (4.00 m) into Saturday. Bulloo River downstream of Quilpie: Moderate flooding is possible along the Bulloo River downstream of Quilpie. No observations are currently available for the Bulloo River at Thargomindah. Based on upstream gauges, it is estimated that the river level at Thargomindah is below the minor flood level and rising. The Bulloo River at Thargomindah may exceed the minor flood level (4.00 m) from overnight Friday into Saturday. The river may exceed the moderate flood level (4.50 m) from Sunday.
