At Marion Downs moderate flooding is possible from early next week. Minor flooding is occurring along the Eyre Creek at Bedourie and Glengyle. Further rises are possible as upstream flows arrive. Georgina River to Marion Downs: Major flooding is occurring at Roxborough Downs and moderate flooding at Glenormiston. The Georgina River at Marion Downs is currently at 2.30 m and steady, below the minor flood level. The Georgina River at Marion Downs is like to exceed the minor flood level (3.00 m) over the weekend, with further rises to the moderate flood level (4.00 m) possible early next week. Further rises are possible as upstream flows arrive. Eyre Creek: Minor flooding is occurring along Eyre Creek and further rises are possible as floodwaters from upstream arrive. The Eyre Creek at Bedourie is currently at 3.55 m and steady, with minor flooding. The Eyre Creek at Bedourie is likely to remain above the minor flood level (3.50 m) over the next few days. Further rises are possible as upstream flows arrive. The Eyre Creek at Glengyle was at 2.40 m at 11:30 am Wednesday, with minor flooding. The Eyre Creek at Glengyle may remain above the minor flood level (2.00 m) over the next few days. Further rises are possible as upstream flows arrive.
