MAJOR FLOODING EASING SLOWLY AT GLENGYLE
MODERATE FLOODING EASING SLOWLY AT MARION DOWNS AND BEDOURIE
River levels are continuing to fall along the Georgina River and Eyre Creek.
Georgina River to Marion Downs:
Moderate flooding is occurring at Marion Downs.
The Georgina River at Marion Downs was at 4.71 m and falling slowly at 9:00 am Wednesday, with moderate flooding.
The Georgina River at Marion Downs is likely to remain above the moderate flood level (4.00 m) for the remainder of the week.
Georgina River downstream of Marion Downs:
River levels continue to fall slowly along the Georgina River downstream of Marion Downs. Elevated river levels continue to ease along King Creek at Cluny, with major flooding.
Eyre Creek:
Major flooding is occurring at Glengyle and moderate flooding is occurring at Bedourie.
The Eyre Creek at Bedourie was at 4.80 m and steady at 9:00 am Thursday, with moderate flooding.
The Eyre Creek at Bedourie is likely to remain above the moderate flood level (4.00 m) for the remainder of the week.
The Eyre Creek at Glengyle was at 4.20 m and steady at 9:00 am Thursday, with major flooding.
The Eyre Creek at Glengyle may fall below the major flood level (4.00 m) early next week.
