River level rises have been observed along the Mulgrave and Russell Rivers. Minor flooding is occurring at Peets Bridge following a minor flood peak early Sunday morning. Further showers are forecast during Sunday which may produce renewed river level rises. Mulgrave River: Minor flooding occurring along the Mulgrave River. The Mulgrave River at Peets Bridge peaked at 5.50 m around 02:00 am Sunday 22 March, with minor flooding. The river is currently at 5.03 m and falling, with minor flooding. The Mulgrave River at Peets Bridge is likely to fall below the minor flood level (5.00 m) Sunday morning. Renewed river level rises are possible with forecast rain. The Mulgrave River at Gordonvale is currently at 11.75 m and rising, below the minor flood level. The Mulgrave River at Gordonvale may peak near the minor flood level (12.00 m) Sunday morning. Renewed river level rises are possible with forecast rain. Russell River: River levels are rising along the Russell River. Minor flooding is occurring at Clyde Rd.
